Standards:

It is our policy to follow closely to the recommendations of the various subspecialty committees of the America Academy of Pediatrics, e.g. the committee on infant nutrition, the committee on infectious diseases and immunizations, the committee on safety and accident prevention, etc.  Such groups are made up of top authorities who, as a result of new understanding, suggest changes in practice details from time to time.
